heeler x looking for a new home in CLARKSON, Western Australia for sale

Pets and Animals

We are unfortunaly looking into rehoming our 4yr old heeler x male, 18/20kgs. He looks like a red heeler.
He is a good boy but isnt getting on with our other dog and they have had some tiffs over attention and toys. Hes an inside dog -sleeps inside at night and is happy to be outside while your out but does like to be inside with his people.
Hes sterilised, microchipped and has been vet checked but is overdue for his anual vaccination.
Being a heeler cross he is very energetic and does get bored but daily walks/runs and a good game of catch and hes happy to chill out next to you. Hes very loyal and can amuse himself if left home alone. He really needs more exercise then we can provide as well.
He is a good boy but would be best suited to a home where its just one on one or with another very submissive female dog. He is house trained, crate trained, knows his basic obedience (sit and down) and has an almost perfect recall and is a nut for frisbees and balls (he'd play all day) and loves going for a swim.
Good guard dog and will let you know if anyone is hanging around.
He is social with dogs out and about and is OK with cats who DONT run but cannot be around birds or small animals (rabbits etc) but is fine with small dogs as our family has chihuahuas. Kids who are school age are prefered as he is a bit grabby with toys but a simple 'Leave It' and he wont take it from your hand. I only say older kids as they will understand better and he can be quite a boofhead and may knock younger kids/toddlers over but saying that we have a young son and he is ok with him.
We will want you answer some questions and do a meet and greet with him a few times as he is a good boy and we dont want him going to just any random who replies.
We are asking for a fee so we know your serious and wont just pass him on once the novelty has worn off.
We reccomend a trial period so he can settle into your routine and see how he fits in with your family.
He'll take his bed (and crate if you want to continue using it) bowl, and a toy to his new home.
We would also like to have updates of how hes settling in.
We arent in a rush to rehome him and are seeking tips from a trainer, so please no abussive emails as we are exploring all avenues and this is 'expressions of interest' at the moment.
I can email you a photo of him!
So please, if he sounds like the dog for you and your willing to give him a chance, drop me an email and we can go from there.
Thanks for reading!!
